Behind on blogging...

One of the worst things about blogging, for me, is that I constantly feel like I'm behind...my excuses are that I take entirely too many photos (not gonna change), I like to tell way too many details of the story (not likely to change, either), and my "free time" is usually between the hours of 10 pm and 1 am (not a terribly productive time of day these days, as I usually fall asleep if I sit still)...

So... while I'm mulling over my to-do list and laundry piles, I am taking a break to do a quick post...a dangerous gamble because Caroline has not gone down for a nap yet and is, at present, dismantling her room. I just had to share this picture, though...I took it yesterday after Caroline discovered a strawberry chapstick Abby put in her special drawer in my bathroom. Kylie would be proud, eh, Kristi? I guess I'll be getting some of those for her Easter basket. This year she is so much more fun to shop for...she LOVES candy...chocolate is a favorite in any form...and she loves books and coloring and stickers and Cinderella and..well, you get the idea!

By the way, it took entirely too long to get this shot. My Nikon is in the shop to be cleaned...I am not fairing well without it...I am using my Minolta non-SLR digital, and it just isn't....well, it ain't a Nikon. It took me FOREVER to get a cute shot of Caroline's lips because, by the time the shutter went off, she was long gone from the frame! ARRRGGGHHHH! A few more days, and I'll be back in business. I do have tons more photos to share and a few of Caroline's antics, so check back...

Wow! What a cute photo! And those beautiful eyes were perfect! And....focusing in on details in your writing makes for enhanced interest on the part of the reader! You're doing very well! I love you.....Glenna

Caroline's delight in that photo was worth the struggle to get it! She and Kylie would be such good "twinsies" with their chapstick joys I do believe! One word of advice, we've had to "retire" a few of the bright pink and red chapsticks early due to their staining nature. When the Easter Bunny picks up a multi-pack, avoid the Fanta ones ~ trust my carpet and couches on this one...
