Good grief. I had it all planned out. I waited until dinner was prepared, served and (mostly) cleaned up. I properly bribed my littlest one to give yet one more performance of her hilarious little Turkey Day ditty. By the way, the bribery was necessitated by her lack of an afternoon nap, not by any sense of performance anxiety. She gave it her all. After all the family left, I loaded it up on the computer. And I discovered that I am an idiot.
For the moment, all we have in the way of a video camera is the video mode of a non-SLR digital camera. Every video camera we've ever owned, including this one, has failed me at some point. This time, though, it was operator error. I didn't think for a moment about taking that video vertically. Until I looked at it on the screen. Sideways. Duh.
Sooo...I just can't bring myself to load it up on YouT*be. I should be sleeping in preparation for tomorrow's shopping. I "promise pinky" that I will work on this tomorrow and figure out how to rotate the video.
Bah. Humbug.
