...after I smash it with a sledge hammer. The HP is a goner. After the debacle with the hard drive and recovering my files, it's been acting weird. I got Photoshop re-installed, with quite a bit of difficulty, and I had a hard time making myself spend all the time it takes to re-install all my other software. Then, the other day, I couldn't get the power cord connection to work. It isn't the cord. I've replaced the cord twice, and the adapter tips twice. I've also had to have the wireless card replaced, the CD burner repaired, a couple of keys on the keyboard fixed, the battery replaced twice and the hard drive reformatted at least three times. I'm done.
Goodbye, HP.
Hello, Dell.
So I'll try to get something up on the blog with our little Dell that the kids use, but after school hours, it's all I can do to get my hands on it with two highschoolers. Jon is figuring out what Dell to order, and I'm hoping to be up and running again within the week.

No you to say good by HP hello Mac. Trust me!!!!
I don't think I can swing a Mac. Plus then I'd have to re-learn everything with PS and Lightroom. Maybe down the road...I've heard fabulous things about Mac.
Sorry about your HP. Just for future reference, PS & Lightroom work the same on a Mac - I'm just sayin'.... ;)
Yeah, Donna, I know what you mean. I was referring to when I took my Lightroom class, they made it out like the controls are different. Subtle changes, yes, but still. I'm not sure if the same version works with both, either. Definitely not re-buying at this point. And I know there are significant changes in word processing, etc. I just don't have it in me.
