Sadly, the snow is gone. Actually, I don't really miss the icky, dirty stuff, but I love, love, love to watch it come down...and I love the way the yard and the streets look when they're covered with freshly fallen snow. At any rate, if today's rain were snow, we'd be in it deep! I think the rain totals amounted to almost two inches, and with the rain came a high wind warning. Nearly blew poor Baxter away! For the 15 seconds he spent outside...
So what better way to celebrate a rainy day than breaking out the puddle jumpers? Last year's still fit! I'm so glad because I think I have a crush on these boots. I have my eye on a sweet little rain slicker at Children's Place that I think Miss Caroline must have!! I'm waiting for a good sale, of course. And did I mention there's a matching umbrella? Have mercy.
Anyway...these pictures are for you, Kristi! They aren't the best, but they're a little something. I took them right before we left school. We didn't have much luck finding good puddles to jump in (silly level parking lot!), but Caroline was super thrilled to run out in the rain. It was so rainy and windy that I didn't venture far from the covered entryway. I wanted to go back out later in the day, but somehow I ran out of time. I know, you're shocked.
If you're feeling nostalgic, check out the post below dedicated to our trip to China. Don't panic...I only picked a few photos for you to peruse. Christmas (stop laughing) and birthday pictures are on their way soon...

I LOVE the girls in little boots & raincoats -- Anne Marie has the ladybug ones & is getting butterfly ones for Easter this year --- they are all just so cute (and posting the page where to find more cute ones -- my husband might not like that--haa!) I love the one of her smile & the one w/ her feet of the ground - she must have been having soooo much fun!!
Thank you my friend! Caroline is so adorable running around in her boots. I have to admit that is one "splurge" that I have not invested in. I'd better not let Kylie see this post or she'll be asking for some for sure...
Now that she's worn the same size shoe for a few months ~ she's gone up 5 sizes since we came home two years ago ~ maybe I'll invest in "fun" shoes.
By the way, I'm so proud of you for going "out of order" and posting this before you post Christmas!
Miss you!
Love Caroline's boots! At least she enjoyed the rain! I'd rather have snow than rain, but I did enjoy the warmer temperatures it brought! Plus, we are out of calamity days, so snow would have been a problem! The pictures were really cute. It looks like she had a lot of fun!
