I'll never get tired of looking at these pictures. Two years ago, we were in China, on the most extraordinary expedition. Those 18 days were some of the most meaningful of my life. And I really don't think I'll ever quite be able to put its meaning into words. Adventure? Experience? Journey? While all of those words apply, none of them fully describe the depths to which I am forever changed. I love differently. I live life differently. So indulge me in a trip down memory lane. It's a trip I'll take every February for the rest of my life.
These are just a few of my favorites from our first couple of days with Caroline. For those of you wondering about the picture of Mickey crying...yes, those were tears of joy ...when I asked him why he was crying, he told me he was so happy because we finally had our baby. Yeah, I cried, too.

Such sweet memories! I had never seen you gotcha pictures before and how truly touching they are! The only thing i wish we had done different is made away for my boys to be there with us. Looking at pictures I know if there is gonna be a next time they will be there! Thank you for sharing.
I just love looking over everyone's pictures and memories - the one of your son's tears of joy makes me want to cry - and I love the one of her "peaking" from behind the little pink blanket.. so sweet!
Ah the emotions brought back! It's hard to believe that two years ago today (well at least two years from when I'm writing this comment) we were on our failed purse shopping expedition and then giving Kylie "buddy bath therapy" in your apartment. Sweet memories ~ this may call for a blast from the past post on my blog tonight!
By the way, I notice that you did not include any "China syndrome" pictures from adoption day...
